SP Plus 600 Seal Tong

This unit (sealing tongs and generator included) is suitable for high-production rates and can be used with all heat-sealable plastic materials such as PE, as well as certain “light” composite materials (these must be validated through preliminary testing).

Designed for continuous packaging operations, these tongs are more robust. A double reinforcement keeps the sealing bars perfectly aligned.

Its mobile and cordless use makes it easy to handle and usable in any position. It can seal bags, create a waterproof cover around a bulky product, and close large-capacity bags or bags placed inside boxes.

The tongs are bi-active (a heating element on each jaw) and can seal thick polyethylene films up to 2 x 0.3 mm.

The jaw length is 600 mm, with a 30 mm opening. The seal width is 5 mm. The included power generator is equipped with a potentiometer to adjust the sealing time. The cooling time is determined by the operator’s wait time before sealing the next bag. These settings vary depending on the thickness of the film to be sealed.

Operation is very simple: a control light turns on during sealing. Once the sealing time is complete, the power is automatically cut off and the light goes out. After a few seconds of cooling, the tongs can be opened and the sealed area released.
