Description

To ensure that your equipment operates within tolerance and remains compliant with the requirements of its production environment in the medical and pharmaceutical industries, Franco Pack offers a comprehensive calibration service.

Calibration, also known as adjustment or verification, is the first step toward compliance with ISO 11607-2:2019. The objectives are to:

  • Verify and adjust the critical parameters of the sealing machine,

  • Ensure metrological traceability (national and international) in accordance with ISO 17025 standards,

  • Issue a calibration certificate.

To achieve this, our teams:

  • Identify the critical parameters: temperature, time (or speed), pressure / sealing force, and vacuum pressure (for vacuum sealers),

  • Record the “as-found” measurements before adjustment to assess deviations,

  • Perform the necessary adjustments: calibration or parameter tuning to restore the defined tolerances,

  • Verify the “as-left” measurements after adjustment to confirm compliance.

Each intervention results in the issuance of a calibration certificate, ensuring consistent and compliant sealing performance for one year. Recalibration should be performed annually.
