CONTI 112L

The CONTI 112L is an horizontal band sealer designed for sealing all types of plastic or laminated bags.

It is equipped with a multifunction laser marking system capable of printing text, dates, barcodes, QR codes, symbols, or logos, all configured via an integrated touchscreen. The advantage of laser marking is that it requires no consumables, resulting in a high return on investment. The marking is permanent and indelible.

The unit is mounted on four castors, two of which are fitted with brakes, making the machine highly mobile. The sealing head and conveyor can be inclined up to 50° to facilitate handling of bags containing bulk products. A small infeed table at the start of the conveyor helps position the bag before it enters the machine. An adjustable guide allows precise positioning of the top of the bag relative to the sealing line.

Once the top of the bag is inserted between the transport belts, the sealing area passes continuously between Teflon bands, through heating elements and then cooling bars.

Before the bag is released, pressure rollers ensure a perfect seal. These sealing rollers enable the FP 112L Horizontal to seal gusseted bags as well as perform the heat sealing of cardboard headers (to be confirmed through testing depending on thickness and material quality).

The conveyor height can be adjusted using a handwheel.

In its horizontal stainless steel version, band sealers are widely used in the food industry, particularly for heat sealing cardboard headers on frozen food bags, etc.
